The 12th International Conference on Advances in Quantitative Larynogology, Voice and Speech Research (AQL) will be held in Hong Kong from 17 to 21 October 2017. We will attend this conference and present on the following topics.

Two poster presentations:

  • Intensity level calibration of audio recording systems for clinical voice analysis: a practical approach
  • Acoustic analysis with the program praat: a primer for voice clinicians

Two oral presentations:

  • Acoustic Voice Quality Index: meta-analysis of its diagnostic accuracy
  • Explorations in the acoustic measurement of rate, perturbation and extent of tremor across the speech system

From August 30th to September 1st the historical and buoyant city Ghent (Belgium) will be the place to be for all who is interesting in voice. The 12th edition of the Pan-European Voice Conference strives to create a lively discussion forum with experts of diverse fields sharing their experience and knowledge.
